Automotive Workshop Manager Required * Reputable Independent Business * Based in Medway, Kent * £45k Basic Salary + Monthly Profit Share Bonus (£55k+ OTE) * Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm – Occasional Saturday Required Our client is a highly respected independent garage located in Medway, Kent, renowned for providing top-notch automotive services and repairs. With a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, they are now seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to lead their skilled team. The Role: As Workshop Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the garage, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently, to the highest standards, and in line with customer expectations. Your role will involve managing a team of skilled technicians, maintaining an organized and productive workshop, and delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and manage the workshop team to ensure smooth workflow and productivity. * Allocate jobs efficiently to technicians, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. * Uphold quality control and ensure all work meets high standards. * Monitor workshop performance, achieving KPIs for efficiency and customer satisfaction. * Manage stock, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are available and in good condition. * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the workshop. * Liaise with customers as needed, providing updates and managing expectations.
