About The Role
You'll be working alongside experienced and passionate engineers who love what they do, using cutting-edge technologies in a data-driven, impact-focused environment. Our culture values transparency, full ownership, collaboration, and a no-ego mindset.
Our engineering organization includes over 300 engineers across multiple groups, each owning a key domain of the monday.com platform. We work in cross-functional teams to define, build, and continuously improve our products together.
What you will do:
- Set engineering vision, technical direction, architectural approach, and execution.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering teams.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and partners in multiple areas of the monday organization.
- Contribute to product and project strategy, roadmap definition, and requirements gathering.
- Our Stack – React.JS, Redux, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Elastic Search, Redis, MySQL
Note: Prior experience with our tech stack is not required; we welcome people willing to learn.
Requirements
- 15-20+ years of experience in software development with a strong track record of designing and delivering complex systems.
- Deep expertise in software design, architecture, and in testing and launching robust products.
- Extensive experience building and scaling large infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, ideally with hands-on cloud technology knowledge.
- Proven leadership experience driving technical direction and influencing engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative team player, skilled at working cross-functionally and fostering alignment across stakeholders.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS products is a strong advantage.
