With over $1B in ARR, 250,000+ customers, and a global team, we’re serious about building a product people love to use and giving our employees the same ownership and flexibility to shape the way the world works. About The Team

Our Enterprise Engineering group sits at the heart of monday.com’s growth, building the foundational systems that our largest customers depend on. The team has two closely connected areas: the Data Lifecycle team, focusing on data compliance and governance at enterprise scale, and the Account Controls team, giving partners tools to manage and control customer data. The work is large‑scale, cross‑product technical challenges, shaping data architecture that touches millions of users, and exploring how AI can be meaningfully applied to data management. Every decision you make has real impact on how enterprise clients experience monday.com. We’re a hands‑on, collaborative team based in London, working across the full stack (primarily Node.js and React), and we thrive on people who can zoom in on the details when it matters and zoom out to see the bigger picture.

About the role

You’ll drive the development of infrastructure features that shape our product’s future from UI to database. This is an individual contributor role with technical leadership scope, not a people‑management position. The role is hybrid, based in our London office in Fitzrovia, with three days per week on site.

What you will do

  • Evolve our architecture and engineering practices to support the ever‑growing scale of users, features, and data.
  • Work alongside experienced and highly skilled developers with cutting‑edge technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams, taking full ownership and responsibility from conception to post‑deployment in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Tech stack: React.js, Redux, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL. Prior experience with our tech stack is not required; we welcome people willing to learn.

  • 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Strong technical expertise with a proven track record of building products that people love and use daily.
  • Full‑stack development experience, primarily focused on backend.

How to prepare for a job interview at monday.com

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If monday.com uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
