This year we announced the biggest transformation in our history, relaunching as an AI Work Platform. We’re looking for a Communications Manager to bring this narrative to life across Europe and APJ markets - someone who can shape how the world understands an AI Work Platform as we’re building it.

The Role

We're looking for a Communications Manager to drive external communications across Europe (UK, DACH, France) and APJ (Australia, Singapore and Japan). This role is suited to a collaborative, hands‑on storyteller who can translate our global narrative into local opportunities, partnering with regional, cross‑functional teams to find and shape stories that land. You'll own the comms strategy for these regions: setting direction, running end‑to‑end campaigns and helping monday.com build a distinctive local voice in each market. This role sits within the Global Communications team and reports to the Director of Communications.

What You’ll Do

  • Craft and deliver the external media strategy across Europe and APJ, defining how and where monday.com is showing up and engaging with external audiences.
  • Build and deepen media relationships, create proactive pitch campaigns and find the stories that make our AI transformation narrative land with target audiences.
  • Elevate thought leadership programs for local market executives translating their experience into insightful external narratives for a range of verticals. Prep spokespeople, develop bylines, media commentary, product workshops and pitches to build profiles for senior leaders.
  • Make global launches and announcements locally relevant to the markets you cover, identifying market‑specific opportunities and delivering stories with cultural nuance.
  • Collaborate with HR, Sales, Product and Creative Marketing teams to develop a drumbeat of proactive storytelling, press presence at local events and newsworthy moments.
  • Develop reactive responses and provide crisis counsel and spokesperson prep.
  • Manage external agency relationships across both regions.

Who You Are

  • Extensive communications experience in the UK, European markets and/or APJ, with a track record of leading impactful communications strategies for fast‑paced global brands and securing top‑tier media coverage.
  • A deep understanding of technology, AI and enterprise news with a strong network of media relationships in the UK and/or France and Germany.
  • Skilled at spotting stories with coverage potential and shaping the right angle based on each site's business needs and where media attention is heading.
  • 10+ years in media relations with expertise in technology, enterprise or AI communications across earned channels.
  • A natural leader who rallies teams and agencies, and partners closely with leadership and functions to deliver campaigns.
  • Outcomes‑focused, highly organized, and detail‑driven.
