We’re now looking for a Senior PR Manager to join our remote team to bring Digital PR expertise to our organic search campaigns for some of the UK’s best-known brands including Kingfisher, owners of B&Q and Screwfix. This is a hands‑on, strategic role for someone who loves building big‑thinking digital PR campaigns and rolling up their sleeves to secure meaningful coverage that drives engagement and SEO impact.
Position Overview
- Location: Virtual, remote role – meet 4 x per year, mostly in London, UK. Candidates must be based in the UK.
- Reports To: Head of SEO/Search, On-Site SEO Lead and Client Services Director
- Work alongside: SEO and Copywriting
- Salary: ÂŁ40,000-ÂŁ50,000, depending on experience
We’re after someone with strong PR instincts, deep digital PR experience, and a clear understanding of how PR contributes to search performance. You’ll be expected to lead our PR strategy, manage media relationships, craft compelling campaigns and own delivery from ideation to coverage and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- PR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and own PR strategy, aligned with SEO goals and client needs
- Design standout digital PR campaigns that drive coverage, links, engagement and online visibility
- Translate PR outcomes into SEO value (traffic, rankings, visibility, domain authority uplift)
- Media Relations & Coverage
- Manage relationships with relevant journalists, editors, podcasters and industry voices
- Pitch and secure high‑value coverage in print, online and broadcast outlets
- Draft press releases, media stories, thought leadership, comment and contributed pieces
- Campaign Delivery & Collaboration
- Work closely with SEO and content teams to integrate PR with wider search initiatives
- Brief and manage creative and content support as needed
- Track, report and optimise campaign performance
- Client Engagement
- Act as the PR lead on client accounts, joining calls, shaping briefs and presenting ideas
- Clearly articulate strategy, results and learnings to clients and internal stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- 6+ years’ PR experience, ideally within digital/digital PR or agency environment
- Strong understanding of SEO AI Search, link building and how PR contributes to organic results
- Proven track record of securing impactful media coverage
- Excellent writing, pitching and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of cross‑functional teams
- Have worked with tools and systems including Press Loft and Vuelio
Working Set‑Up and Hours
- 4 days a week (30 hours) or full‑time (37.5 hours per week)
- Flexi‑time between 8am–8pm, focused on great client service and teamwork
- Remote first – with 4 x team meet‑ups per year in the South (e.g., London, Brighton). You must however be based in the UK.
- Occasional travel for training, conferences, or client meetings
- Strong WiFi and “camera‑on” etiquette for virtual meetings (support can be provided)
