The role involves designing and overseeing integrated search strategies that span Google, social media platforms, AI platforms, digital PR and emerging search environments. You will act as the bridge between the SEO, Content and PR teams, turning keyword data and search insights into powerful content, PR and social media search-led strategies that deliver measurable results across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-Page SEO Specialist
    • Design and implement on-page SEO strategies for client accounts.
    • Ensure SEO and Search Everywhere recommendations drive clients’ desired traffic and conversion outcomes.
    • Manage keyword strategies and embed correct targeting into web structures, content plans and site architecture.
    • Review all content delivered by the Content Team and by clients’ in-house social media teams to ensure SEO best practice compliance.
    • Monitor on-page delivery (meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URL slugs, image alt text, schema, internal linking) to ensure optimisation and correct implementation.
    • Lead image optimisation, advising on naming, compression and search-friendly asset management.
    • Oversee Google Merchant Centre and Google Shopping optimisation to ensure product feeds, imagery, titles and attributes are fully search-optimised.
  • Off-Page SEO & Digital PR Integration
    • Act as the agency’s Off-Page SEO specialist, ensuring PR campaigns align strategically with SEO goals.
    • Work closely with the Head of PR to identify opportunities that generate high-value backlinks, brand mentions, reviews and coverage on authoritative sites.
    • Conduct ongoing backlink audits and link performance evaluations to confirm activity drives visibility and ranking improvements.
    • Provide insights and direction to the PR team to align off-page efforts with priority keywords and client commercial goals.
  • Search Everywhere SEO Strategy (Google + Social Search)
    • Lead the development of Search Everywhere SEO content strategies, identifying where audiences search across platforms (Google, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, Pinterest, Amazon, AI search interfaces).
    • Transform keyword research into a data-driven storytelling document that highlights search peaks, priority platforms, recommended content formats and the role of PR, product content and SEO throughout the customer journey.
    • Keep the agency informed on the latest Search Everywhere SEO and platform-specific search trends and ensure clients anticipate algorithm and consumer behaviour shifts.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Collaborate with the Head of SEO to shape client strategies and deliver industry-leading performance.
    • Provide detailed briefs, insights and quality control to ensure alignment with Content and PR teams.
    • Guide clients with clear explanations, strategic thinking and support around both traditional and emerging search environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of SEO experience with demonstrable success in on-page and off-page.
  • Deep understanding of keyword research, search intent, technical SEO elements and content optimisation.
  • Strong digital PR, link-building strategy and social SEO content experience.
  • High level of knowledge of Google Merchant Centre and Google Shopping optimisation.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to turn data into compelling narratives.
  • Up-to-date with latest trends in Google search, social search and AI-driven search platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to brief internal teams and advise clients clearly.
  • Highly detail-oriented – comfortable owning processes and ensuring flawless implementation.
