An exciting leadership opportunity has become available to join our Value Outcome Office team, which focuses on delivering results from across the Enterprise change portfolio by providing transparency (including reporting) and a single source of truth on portfolio benefits, MKRs, costs, risks, delivery performance metrics, and overall status.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the planning, supply management, prioritisation, financial management, reporting and governance across Suncorp New Zealand, ensuring clear alignment to Group strategy and organisational objectives.
- Lead the governance activities for group-wide delivery teams.
- Lead the annual planning and facilitation of Momentum cadences such as the ABR, EBR and QBRs across Suncorp New Zealand.
- Collaborate across Suncorp and build strong relationships within the functional and Business areas to deliver high quality outcomes and ensure delivery management and associated governance activities continuously provide value.
- Responsible for supporting the implementation and embedment of the Group governance and delivery frameworks (Momentum) including working with the stakeholders across Tribes, Platforms and COEs via strategic program delivery and governance processes to optimise the existing delivery methodology and tools (e.g. Microsoft PPM and Jira), ensuring they are industry-leading and fit for purpose.
- Lead, manage and support the VOO team development through effective coaching, mentoring and professional development.
- Professional qualification/training in Project Delivery, Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience (desired).
- 5-10 years’ experience in project, program and portfolio management, governance and delivery roles.
- Strong financial acumen and operational knowledge.
- Strong team management, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Expert knowledge of Portfolio Governance methods.
- Strong ability to prepare written reports and visually represent information.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to guide and influence decision making at management level.
