Are you a qualified Nursery Nurse seeking a new and exciting opportunity to join a well‑run, established nursery?

LOCATION: Grays, RM17

START DATE: ASAP!

Nursery Nurse role with opportunities to progress as Room Leader and into Management!

SALARY: £24,800 – £27,000 per annum (dependent on qualification and experience)

To be considered for this wonderful opportunity, you MUST have the following:

  • Minimum Qualification in either:
  • NVQ 3 & 4 Childcare or Children’s Learning & Development
  • CACHE Level 3 & 4 Early Years full and relevant qualification

Candidates unqualified or with a Level 1 or 2 will be considered for Nursery Assistant.

The Nursery is large with over 100 pupils attending in sessions across all of our classes from babies to pre-school children!

Responsibilities and Duties

Your day‑to‑day tasks will include:

  • Planning and delivering activities using the EYFS
  • Being a key worker and using our state‑of‑the‑art online learning journey called 'Tapestry'
  • Sharing information about your children's development with parents or carers.
  • Taking children on outings; completing risk assessments
  • Personal care routines
  • Observing children and writing reports
  • Making sure children are safe and well

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications in childcare are essential. Unqualified staff will be considered for Nursery Nurse Assistant positions.
