The Role
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on either a 1:1 basis or within the classroom as general support.
- Providing emotional, behavioural and learning support.
- Helping children access the curriculum in a way that suits them.
- Encouraging independence and building confidence.
- Working closely with teachers and SEND teams.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need teaching qualifications-just the right attitude and willingness to learn. We welcome applicants from backgrounds such as:
- Support work
- Care work
- Youth work
- Psychology, social science or education graduates
- Nursery / childcare
- Or anyone with experience supporting vulnerable individuals.
