The Role

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on either a 1:1 basis or within the classroom as general support.
  • Providing emotional, behavioural and learning support.
  • Helping children access the curriculum in a way that suits them.
  • Encouraging independence and building confidence.
  • Working closely with teachers and SEND teams.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need teaching qualifications-just the right attitude and willingness to learn. We welcome applicants from backgrounds such as:

  • Support work
  • Care work
  • Youth work
  • Psychology, social science or education graduates
  • Nursery / childcare
  • Or anyone with experience supporting vulnerable individuals.
