Monarch Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established primary school in the Sheldon area, South Birmingham, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team for the Autumn term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment with a strong focus on pupil progress and wellbeing.
The Role
- Full-time class teaching responsibility within Upper KS2 (Year 5 or 6)
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom management skills
- A track record of raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
- The ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
