Monarch Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in North Birmingham, seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join their team from September 2026. This is a long-term role continuing until the end of the academic year.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in Geography across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. The school is open to applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators, as well as Humanities teachers with experience teaching Geography.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Ability to teach Geography to GCSE standard
  • Proven track record of strong pupil outcomes
  • Creativity and innovation in lesson planning
  • Experience engaging and progressing learners
  • Applications from unqualified teachers with relevant experience will be considered
