Monarch Education is seeking to appoint Qualified Teachers for a secondary school in Taunton, Somerset. This is a fully flexible position, the school are able to offer full or part time working options. This Good secondary school is looking for fully qualified teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE within a secondary subject to join them as a regular cover teacher.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Qualifications: Qualified Secondary Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This is a mandatory requirement. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting is essential.
- Subject Knowledge and Pedagogy: Strong and up-to-date subject knowledge in your area of specialism across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering core areas. Understanding of effective teaching methodologies for your subject at secondary level, including practical experiments (if applicable), theoretical concepts, and problem-solving. Ability to utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources, to create engaging and inspiring lessons. Skill in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
- Assessment: Skill in providing constructive and specific feedback to students to support their understanding and progress in the subject. Understanding of assessment requirements for KS3 and GCSE qualifications.
- Classroom Practice: Excellent classroom management and behaviour skills, creating a positive and productive learning environment. Ability to foster students’ inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
