Are you enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people? Do you have experience supporting individuals that can find it difficult to build social and emotional relationships? In recent years there is a massive focus on supporting the mental health of pupils who have been impacted by adverse childhood experiences. We are currently seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 basis across schools in the area of Bridgwater. These opportunities come with an option of progressing onto contract at the school.
As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker you will be involved in supporting pupils within the classroom and running activities with pupils outside the classroom. Together with the class teacher, you will also provide support to ensure the right support is in place for the students.
