Many of our supply placements frequently develop into long-term cover or permanent posts. About the role
As a Secondary QTS Supply Teacher, you will deliver lessons that have already been planned, support classes in maintaining a productive learning environment, and ensure students stay focused and engaged. Depending on your subject area, you may teach within your specialism or cover a range of curriculum subjects.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach KS3 and KS4 lessons using pre-prepared resources
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and calmly
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to support student learning
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and engagement
- Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and reporting procedures
- Build strong professional relationships with school teams and pupils
- Adjust quickly to varying school environments and expectations
