We are currently recruiting for a full-time Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Rubery (B45). This is a long-term opportunity, offering consistency and the chance to become a valued part of the school community.

Role Available:

  • Year 5 Teaching Assistant (Full Time)
  • Supporting pupils in a Key Stage 2 classroom
  • Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development
  • Assisting with a range of curriculum activities and general classroom support

About the role:

  • Monday to Friday – Full time (term time only)
  • Based in Rubery (B45)
  • Long-term position with potential to continue
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1, small group, and whole-class basis
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff

  • Enthusiastic, dependable, and proactive individual with a passion for supporting children’s learning
  • Recent experience working in a school setting (within the last 2 years, with references)
  • Confident supporting pupils in Key Stage 2

  • Effective teamwork skills
  • Committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Ideally local to the area or able to travel easily
  • SEN experience desirable but not essential
