Monarch Education is supporting a small, specialist SEMH school in Peterborough in their search for a passionate and resilient Food Technology Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner who thrives in a nurturing, hands-on environment and is committed to transforming outcomes for young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
About the Role
We are looking for a Food Tech Teacher with:
- Experience supporting SEMH learners or young people with additional needs
- Strong practical classroom management and the ability to build positive, trusted relationships
- A creative, adaptable approach to planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons
- Confidence working in a smaller school setting with a highly supportive team
You do not need to hold QTS – applicants from vocational, further education, or strong unqualified teaching backgrounds are welcome. This role can be offered temp-to-perm or as a permanent appointment for the right candidate.
