We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Science Teacher (QTS) to join a well-regarded secondary school in Oxford from September 2026. This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable). Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed; KS5 desirable)

- Encourage scientific thinking, enquiry, and problem‑solving skills

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- A degree in Science or a related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or combined sciences)
- Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level

- Excellent classroom management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience teaching GCSE Science with strong outcomes
- Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
- KS5 (A‑Level) teaching experience
- Familiarity with current exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR)
- Track record of supporting student progress and raising attainment
