About the Role

Monarch Education are actively recruiting, in collaboration with an academy trust in Northampton, for enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors with experience or a passion for Special Educational Needs. These opportunities are within specialist SEND schools across multiple Northamptonshire postcodes. These roles are full-time and long-term within friendly, family-oriented school environments offering strong support and guidance. Hours are between 08:30-15:30 (depending on the school), Monday to Friday, term time only. Positions are due to start after February half term.

You will support students aged 2-16+ with varying SEND needs including autism, global developmental delay, PMLD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH. You will work alongside class teachers to support learning, social development, and positive behaviour.

Suitable Candidates May Include:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistants
  • Individuals with speech & language therapy experience
  • Former probation officers
  • Health care, support worker or social care experience
  • Graduates in Acting, Music, Performing Arts, Psychology
  • Experienced SEND TAs/LSAs
  • Those with 3-6 months experience working with children
  • Sports coaches
  • Individuals available full-time ASAP / December 2024
