Location: Melksham & Surrounding Areas

Contract: Full-Time Supply (Monday-Friday)

Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm

Salary: £116.94 – £128.63 per day (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role

As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons to KS3 and KS4 students across a range of subjects. Your main responsibility is to supervise the class, uphold expectations, and ensure students remain on task. No subject expertise is required – strong communication, confidence, and behaviour management skills are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise whole classes in the teacher's absence and keep students engaged in their learning
  • Deliver pre-set work while following school policies and classroom routines
  • Maintain a calm, orderly, and positive learning environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively and reinforce good learning habits
