Monarch Education is working in partnership with a wide range of primary and secondary schools to recruit Cover Supervisors and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA). These roles are ideal for experienced education professionals looking to gain further classroom experience, support pupils’ learning, and work flexibly within the education sector.
The Role
- Cover Supervisor: Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement.
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA): Support teaching and learning across the curriculum, deliver targeted interventions and small group work, assist with planning, preparation, and assessment, support pupils with varying learning needs to reach their full potential.

- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A flexible, proactive, and professional approach.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience (desirable for HLTA roles).
