Monarch Education are looking for enthusiastic and caring Educational Support Assistants to join our wonderful partner schools in Faringdon. Whether you’re experienced in education or looking to start a rewarding new career working with children, this role could be a perfect fit!
This is a high-impact, highly rewarding role supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You’ll be working either 1:1 with a child who needs extra support or providing general classroom support, helping the class teacher create a fun, engaging and safe learning environment.
About the RoleAs an Educational Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
- Assist with learning activities across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Help create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
- Encourage pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support learning plans
- Provide encouragement, positivity, and consistency throughout the school day
You don’t need formal school experience - just the right mindset. We welcome:
- School support experience (desirable but not essential!)
- Experience with children from work, volunteering, or personal settings
- Passionate, patient and nurturing individuals
- Someone reliable, dedicated and happy to work in a primary school setting
If you have a background in care, youth work, coaching, early years, or support roles, your skills are highly transferrable!
