Monarch Education is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) across all subject specialisms to join our partnering primary and secondary schools for the September 2026 intake. This is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified teachers to begin their teaching journey in supportive, forward-thinking, and well-resourced school environments where professional growth and development are prioritised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire, challenge, and support learners.
- Assess and track pupil progress in line with school and national assessment guidelines.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes high expectations.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
- Work closely with mentors, phase leaders, and subject leads to successfully complete your ECT Induction.
- Participate in staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and wider school initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support holistic development.
- Use technology and digital tools to enhance teaching, assessment, and classroom engagement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching degree or equivalent in your subject specialism.
- QTS achieved by July 2026 (suitable for ECT Year 1).
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective classroom practice.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement.
- Ability to differentiate and personalise learning for pupils of varied abilities.
- Confidence in using digital resources to support teaching and learning.
