Monarch Education are delighted to be supporting a client school in the Denton (M34) area, who are seeking a committed Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from April 2026. This is a full-time position, working within a supportive school environment that places a strong emphasis on providing high-quality provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
About the Role
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering targeted interventions
- Help create a positive, nurturing learning environment where all pupils can thrive
- Support pupils with their social, emotional and academic development
- Adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO and external agencies when required

Requirements
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with children with SEND in a school or care setting
