Monarch Education is currently working with a Primary School in Coventry, to find an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This role is full time, on a long term basis.

Requirements of applicant:

  • You MUST have experience with Special Educational Needs for this role
  • Experienced supporting children with SEND – especially Autism and Behaviour Difficulties
  • Confident and experienced individual who is able to assess situations before acting on them
  • Ideally you would hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Education for this role, however this is not essential

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targets 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils’ academic and social development
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with high SEND Needs
  • Ensure individual learning and care plans are followed effectively
  • Support pupils in developing positive behaviour, resilience and independence through consistent strategies
  • Promote the holistic development of every child
  • Foster both educational progress and personal growth
