Monarch Education is currently working with a Primary School in Coventry, to find an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This role is full time, on a long term basis.
Requirements of applicant:
- You MUST have experience with Special Educational Needs for this role
- Experienced supporting children with SEND – especially Autism and Behaviour Difficulties
- Confident and experienced individual who is able to assess situations before acting on them
- Ideally you would hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Education for this role, however this is not essential
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver targets 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils’ academic and social development
- Provide tailored support to pupils with high SEND Needs
- Ensure individual learning and care plans are followed effectively
- Support pupils in developing positive behaviour, resilience and independence through consistent strategies
- Promote the holistic development of every child
- Foster both educational progress and personal growth
