Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Partner to join our expanding team and support primary and secondary schools across the Cheltenham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive—whether you’re an experienced classroom assistant or looking to take your first step into education.
About the Role
As a Teaching Partner, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and pupils throughout the school day. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 and small‑group support
- Helping to deliver engaging lessons and activities
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
- Assisting with classroom management and organisation
- Creating a positive, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
Assignments vary, giving you the chance to work in different school settings and year groups.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children (school, coaching, youth work, tutoring etc.) – desirable but not essential
- A positive, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or be on the Update Service)
