Monarch Education are seeking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to work within a primary school setting in Rubery. This role requires a candidate who holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and has a strong commitment to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to pupils across the primary age range, ensuring all learners are able to access the curriculum and make meaningful progress.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support within a primary classroom
- Support pupils with SEND, including Autism, learning difficulties, and communication needs
- Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and individual learning plans
- Support the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional development
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Monitor and report on pupil progress where required
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals

- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – mandatory
