Monarch Education is currently recruiting qualified and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in Bristol, Bath, and South Gloucestershire. We have both short-term and long-term vacancies available, including full class teaching positions and day-to-day supply. Whether you’re an ECT looking to gain classroom experience or an experienced teacher seeking flexibility or a new challenge, we would love to hear from you. Opportunities are available for both part-time and full-time roles, and we work with schools that value quality teaching and provide welcoming, well-structured environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with school policies and national curriculum guidelines.
- Support and manage pupil behaviour in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy.
- Adapt to different classroom settings, year groups, and school cultures.
- Maintain a positive and professional presence in the classroom and staffroom.
- Complete marking and planning (for longer-term placements) as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and engaging pupils effectively.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Ability to travel up to 30 minutes to local schools.
