We’re looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who genuinely wants to make a difference. If you’re patient, calm under pressure, and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs, this could be the perfect role for you. This position would be a great fit for a sports coach or recent sports graduate.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting students with Autism in the classroom, helping them stay engaged and focused.
  • Working one-to-one or in small groups to deliver tailored learning and emotional support.
  • Helping with sensory activities and structured routines.
  • Assisting teachers with lesson prep and classroom organisation.
  • Encouraging independence and celebrating small wins every day.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, especially Autism.
  • Someone who’s caring, reliable, and not afraid to get stuck in.
  • Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
  • Any relevant training (e.g. Autism Awareness, Team Teach) is a bonus—but not essential.
