Monarch Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Clifton that caters for pupils aged 11-18 with Autism and related behavioural needs. We’re looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who genuinely wants to make a difference. If you’re patient, calm under pressure, and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs, this could be the perfect role for you. This position would be a great fit for a sports coach or recent sports graduate.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting students with Autism in the classroom, helping them stay engaged and focused.
- Working one-to-one or in small groups to deliver tailored learning and emotional support.
- Helping with sensory activities and structured routines.
- Assisting teachers with lesson prep and classroom organisation.
- Encouraging independence and celebrating small wins every day.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND, especially Autism.
