Mental Health Youth Support Worker – Kingswood Secondary School

Are you passionate about supporting the mental health and well-being of young people? Do you have experience helping individuals who find it challenging to build social and emotional relationships? With the growing focus on mental health in education, we are seeking dedicated practitioners to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils at a secondary school in Kingswood, Bristol for the current academic year. These roles offer the potential to progress onto a long-term contract with the school.

About the Role:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils within the classroom and during activities outside the classroom.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to ensure the right strategies and interventions are in place.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and positive coping mechanisms.
