Monarch Education is working in partnership with a further education college in Longbridge to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Sociology / Criminology Lecturer. Role Details

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Sociology and Criminology lessons to post‑16 learners
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Assess learner understanding and provide constructive feedback
  • Support student progress and achievement
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to departmental planning

What We’re Looking For

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE / CertEd / DTLLS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Sociology and/or Criminology within FE or post‑16 settings
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage learners
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A flexible and professional approach to teaching
