Level 3 SEND Nursery Nurse – Northfield, Birmingham
Are you searching for a new path within your career in Early Years? Monarch Education are currently working with a Nursery School in the Northfield area of Birmingham to find a Level 3 SEND Nursery Nurse who is heavily experienced supporting pupils with SEND. This role is Monday to Friday 8.45am - 3pm, starting ASAP and personal care will be required.
Requirements
- You must hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years
- You must have experience supporting children of EYFS age with SEND Needs
- Knowledge of the EYFS and SEND National Curriculums
- Understanding of various SEND conditions and how they impact children’s learning & development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt support methods and strategies to meet diverse needs
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to children in the setting’s SEND Inclusion
- Ensure the inclusion of SEND pupils in all nursery activities
- Support children in the setting’s forest school
- Work closely with the SENCO to implement and review IEP’s
- Support the social, emotional and cognitive development of all children in your care
- Apply positive behaviour management techniques at all times
