ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT LOOKING FOR A LONG-TERM ROLE? We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Aston (B6). This is a long-term opportunity, offering stability and the chance to become an integral part of a dedicated SEND provision.
About the Role:
- Monday to Friday – Full time (term time only)
- Based in Aston (B6)
- Long-term position with potential to continue
- Supporting pupils within a specialist SEND resource base
- Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions
- Supporting children with a range of special educational needs
- Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff
What we’re looking for:
- We are seeking a committed, experienced, and compassionate individual with a strong background in supporting children with SEND.
- Have recent experience working in a SEND hub or SEND school (within the last 2 years, with references)
- Be confident supporting pupils with additional needs
- Have a patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Be committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment
- Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to Aston (B6)
