Monarch Education are looking for a Qualified Year 6 Teacher who is an enthusiastic and friendly candidate for a Key Stage 2 Teaching role in the Birmingham area. This role will be full time from January 2026 for a busy primary school that focuses on being welcoming and friendly to everyone. They are excited to welcome someone new into the school who will be willing to make an impact on the school’s environment and the pupils' learning.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring every pupil’s development individually and taking necessary action to uphold standards
- Being able to set realistic and appropriate targets
- Providing a well-stimulated and relaxing environment for children to be able to learn effectively
- Ensuring that you are maximising every pupil’s potential
- To liaise with parents, colleagues and students to ensure everyone is up to date with pupil’s progress
- Using a variety of teaching skills to fit all students
Ideal candidate will hold:
- Qualified teacher status
- Experience with Key Stage 2 children
- Confidence in teaching and marking
- Ability to cover flexibly within the assigned key stage
- A valid DBS on the update service or be happy to complete a new one
- Suitable references available for us to contact
