To be successful in this role, you must have Qualified Teacher Status and experience teaching in a UK school. Monarch Education is recruiting a Full-Time Computer Science / IT Teacher for a secondary school in Birmingham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Computer Science and/or IT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
Key responsibilities:- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for Computer Science and/or IT
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Computer Science / IT curriculum
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Computer Science and/or IT within a UK secondary school setting
- Knowledge of the UK secondary school curriculum for Computer Science and IT
