We are currently recruiting for a part-time Reception Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Yardley (B25). This is a job share opportunity, offering a great work-life balance within a supportive school environment.
About the role
- Monday to Wednesday – Part time (term time only)
- Based in Yardley (B25)
- Job share role within Reception
- Full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, and assessment (shared)
- Working collaboratively with Early Years staff and wider school team
What we’re looking for
- Committed, experienced, and enthusiastic Early Years teacher with a passion for supporting young learners
- Recent experience teaching within Early Years / Reception (within the last 2 years, with references)
- Confident delivering the EYFS curriculum
- Nurturing, patient, and engaging teaching approach
- Able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Work effectively as part of a team, particularly within a job share role
- Committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Ideally local to the area or able to travel to B25
Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs – applicants must have prior teaching experience.
