Monarch Education is recruiting on behalf of a School in Northfield for a School Cleaner. Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a part-time cleaning role? We are currently seeking a School Cleaner to join our partner school in Northfield. The position is from 3pm to 6pm, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive school environment.

About the Role

As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the school premises. Your work will help ensure a safe, welcoming, and productive environment for staff and pupils alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning classrooms, hallways, toilets, and communal areas
  • Emptying bins and maintaining waste disposal
  • Ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
  • Following health and safety and infection control procedures
  • Using cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to appropriate staff

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures
