Monarch Education is partnering with a school in Birmingham, near Great Barr/Perry Barr, to recruit an Art Teacher and Subject Lead.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Art across key stages, leading the department, and developing the Art curriculum.
  • The role involves planning and delivering lessons that meet the national curriculum standards, assessing student progress, and supporting departmental development.
  • The candidate will also be expected to contribute to school-wide initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality Art education.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level
  • Ability to lead and develop the Art department
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
