Monarch Education is currently seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to work in a welcoming nursery setting in Bicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting early years development and creating a positive learning environment for young children.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Bicester

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm or 8:30am – 5:30pm

Pay Rate: £17.00 – £18.50 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the daily routine within the nursery, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
  • Assisting with structured and free-play activities that promote early learning and development
  • Encouraging social, emotional, and physical development in line with EYFS guidelines
  • Supporting children with personal care where required
  • Working collaboratively with nursery staff to maintain high standards of care and education

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within an early years or nursery setting
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
