Monarch Education is working closely with welcoming and supportive schools across Banbury, and we’re looking for dedicated SEN Classroom Support Assistants to join their teams. Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to step into education for the first time, we want to hear from you!
The Role
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or within the classroom
- Helping young people with a range of special educational needs (SEND)
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with teachers to adapt lessons and create a supportive learning environment
- Making a genuine, daily impact on students’ confidence and progress

What We’re Looking For
- You don’t need to be a qualified teacher. We welcome:
- Previous school support experience
- Care/healthcare/childcare backgrounds
- Psychology, education or social science graduates
- Anyone with a passion for helping young people
If you’re patient, positive, and motivated - we’ll support you with everything else.
