We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled Geography Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Oxford. An OFSTED graded secondary school in Oxford is looking for a full‑time Geography teacher to join their school in January 2026. This is a long‑term placement and as a newly appointed teacher you will be fully supported by the department head and a number of key staff. As part of this role you will teach up to GCSE level and be responsible for participating in team planning.
Daily rate of pay will start at £145 and can increase to £232.57 for more experienced teachers with UK recognised Qualified Teaching Status. UK qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role.
Job responsibilities:
- Planning/Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
- Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK
- Full time availability
- Specialism or experience teaching Geography in UK based schools
