Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEND)? Do you want to make a real difference in a child’s learning journey? A Doncaster (DN7) based Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work one-to-one and in small groups with pupils who have Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them access the curriculum and thrive in a nurturing environment. The role will run until Easter at least and will start immediately.

Your Role:

  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and Headteacher to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
  • Provide tailored one-to-one support to pupils with EHCPs, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Assist pupils with a range of needs including physical, behavioural, medical, and emotional.
  • Support learning activities both in the classroom and on educational visits.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

  • Experience working with children with SEND (preferred but not essential).

  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
