We are currently working with a mainstream primary school in Chesterfield who require Teaching Assistants to work on long term, full time from September 2025. We are looking for resilient Level 2, Level 3 or higher qualified Teaching Assistants with strong behaviour management skills to join our successful team.
Your Requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people
- A recognised teaching assistant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare
- Confident in managing challenging behaviours, defusing situations, and making a calm and positive environment for students to progress in
- A calm, patient manner with a positive can-do attitude
Your Role:
- You will be working with the class teacher and other members of support staff to ensure that the pupil receives the care required to cater for their unique needs
- You must be able to build trusting and meaningful relationships and ensure that they are engaged in learning and activities
This is a full-time role starting this September, we are looking for a committed and passionate teaching assistant who is looking to join a successful team of practitioners and really make a difference.
