Rate: £162.31 – £223.63 per day

Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce, are currently working closely with a well-known Primary School in Aston who are looking for a full-time Year 5 Teacher to join their team in September for the full academic year. This is a full-time, full responsibility teaching role.

The school are looking for an experienced, bubbly, child-centred individual who is always willing to go the extra mile for all children in their care, who strive to provide high-quality learning, which enables each child to realise their full potential to meet targets. The school has a large supportive senior team, with up-to-date technology and nearby public transport routes and onsite parking available on school site. The school are willing to accept applications from ECTs, so you will need to obtain references from placements, working within the KS2 year groups.

Ideal candidate:

  • Hold a recognised teacher qualification, QTS or Equivalent
  • Have excellent knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum
  • Proven record of having experience of outstanding classroom practice
  • Is flexible and can adapt quickly in different school environments
  • Be passionate about securing the best outcomes, inspiring and supporting all children
  • Be a team player, demonstrating humility, be supportive to all colleagues and can communicate readily and easily
  • Possess a positive energy and enthusiasm for learning as well as a ‘can-do’ attitude to all aspects of the role and asks of the school
  • Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Able to control behaviour management
