Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a nurturing and experienced Nursery Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the B14 area of Birmingham. This part-time role is ideal for a confident and skilled EYFS practitioner who is available to work every Wednesday and is passionate about early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports the emotional and educational development of young children.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders to ensure high-quality provision and smooth transitions.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to planning and reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues to support holistic development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – not open to ECTs.
  • Proven experience teaching in Nursery or EYFS settings.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young learners.
