Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, install and initializing clocks and timers, locating existing zones and valves, and performing pump repairs
- Spring evaluations and start-up
- Winterization and blow-out
- Mid-season inspections
- Gather and update historical data for each account regarding water sources, point of connection and main line location, service performed and parts installed
Qualifications:
- At least two years commercial irrigation experience
- Ability to identify system repairs and improvements
- Ability to troubleshoot and exhibit sound decision making skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with clients, co-workers and supervisor
- Ability to pull, push and lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid Washington Driver License with a clean record
- Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) License preferred
