Monarch house has everything you need to create your home away from home. Perfectly situated on Kensington High Street just across the way from Holland Park. Monarch House is a collection of one, two, three and four bedroom 4* luxury service apartments that offer comfort, calm and convenience to all. We are looking for a passionate and driven Housekeeping Supervisor to join our wonderful team at Monarch House delivering excellent standards and memorable experiences for our guests.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with the Housekeeping Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the departments
- Focus on checking guest bedrooms to ensure high standard of cleanliness are maintained
- Supervise, mentor and develop the Room Attendants assigned to your section
- Conduct training and ensure hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements, are adhered to
- Assist with the management of stock, reporting loss, discrepancies and order requirements
- Pay special attention to any additional cleaning or maintenance required in all rooms, including areas specific to outside contractors (such as window cleaning)
Who you are:
- Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a 4/5* property
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Polite, professional, friendly and confident in approach
- Able to work 5 days out of 7, and may be required to work different shifts
- IT literate, comfortable working with Opera and Triton
- Well-organised, and able to remain calm under pressure
