Perfectly situated on Kensington High Street just across the way from Holland Park, Monarch House is a collection of one, two, three and four bedroom 4* luxury service apartments that offer comfort, calm and convenience to all.
We are looking for a passionate and driven Housekeeping Supervisor to join our wonderful team at Monarch House delivering excellent standards and memorable experiences for our guests.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with the Housekeeping Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the departments.
- Focus on checking guest bedrooms to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Supervise, mentor and develop the Room Attendants assigned to your section.
- Conduct training and ensure hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements, are adhered to.
- Assist with the management of stock, reporting loss, discrepancies and order requirements.
- Pay special attention to any additional cleaning or maintenance required in all rooms, including areas specific to outside contractors (such as window cleaning).
Who you are:
- Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a 4/5* property.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Polite, professional, friendly and confident in approach.
- Able to work 5 days out of 7, and may be required to work different shifts.
- IT literate, comfortable working with Opera and Triton.
- Well-organised, and able to remain calm under pressure.
