We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant (Bank hours) to support our dedicated catering team at Clifton Manor Nursing Home. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of our residents, by ensuring mealtimes run smoothly. Position Details
- Rate of Pay: In line with national minimum wage
- Hours and shift times: Bank hours, 08:00-18:00
- Location: Clifton, Nottingham, NG11
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside our Cooks to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment and assist in the preparation and serving of meals.
- Maintain a hygienic kitchen and dining area.
- Keep accurate records of food supplies, temperatures and schedules.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety at all times.
- Follow statutory Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Report any faults or issues promptly.
We are looking for someone who is caring, friendly, and has good communication skills with experience of working in a kitchen or food preparation role.
