Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join our team at Clifton Manor Residential Home, NG11. At Clifton Manor, we offer care and support to older adults and individuals living with dementia. Our home provides bright, spacious accommodation designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Position Details
- Rate of pay: in line with national minimum wage
- Hours: 30 hours per week – 4 shifts per week
- Schedule: We work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
- Shift Times: Can start from 07:00. The shift times can be discussed at interview.
- Location: Clifton, Nottingham, NG11. Please consider the travel times to the area, including on a weekend, prior to applying.
Responsibilities
As a Domestic Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.
Further Responsibilities
- Adhere to the home’s cleaning schedules
- Provide deep cleaning and preparation of bedrooms as required
- Manage cleaning supplies and notify the Home Manager or appropriate person when new supplies are required.
- Ensure the appropriate agent is used for each area to be cleaned
- Adhere to health and safety, and infection control policies and ensure cleaning is in line with recommendations.
- Adhere to the Care Centre’s disposal of waste and COSHH policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness of linen, towels, and Clients’ personal clothing alongside ensuring the laundry room and equipment remains clean and tidy.
