We are recruiting for a Kitchen Manager/Cook to join our dedicated team at Clifton Manor Nursing Home in Clifton, NG11. At Clifton Manor, we offer care and nursing support to older adults and individuals living with dementia.
Position Details
- Rate of Pay: £14-£15 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays
- Shift times: 07:00-18:00
- Location: Rivergreen, Clifton, NG11 (Please consider travel times, including on weekends)

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook hot and cold meals, taking into consideration dietary requirements and individual preferences
- Provide leadership, support and supervision to the kitchen staff team
- Maintain accurate records of food supplies and deliveries
- Stock rotation
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, well maintained and stored appropriately
- Ensure the cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas is carried out effectively
Requirements
- A food hygiene certificate and City and Guilds qualification is required, alongside supervisory experience
- All positions are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references
